7+ Things to do in Fort Worth over Winter Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCU chapter.

Whether you’re a Fort Worth native, or you’re just staying here over the break, there’s plenty of things to do before classes resume in January. I’ve compiled a list of 7 different venues that have multiple things to do (or at least multiple days for one activity) during the span of December 16th 2016, to January 17th, 2017. Check out the options below:

1.Billy Bob’s Texas

Billy Bob’s will have several concerts between the end of the fall semester and the start of the spring. If you’re a fan of any of these artists, or maybe you’re wanting to find some new tunes, you should definitely check these events out:

  • Randy Rogers Band: 12/16 and 12/17
  • Kacey Musgraves: 12/21
  • Parker McCollum: 12/22

3. Visit Santa in Sundance Square

Most malls in and around the greater Fort Worth area will have a Santa available for visiting. However, Downtown Fort Worth’s Santa is probably the best one to visit. Sundance Square has it all—a HUGE Christmas tree, Santa, and giant ornaments to take photos with, plus there’s fountains, and that’s pretty cool. If you choose to visit it at nighttime you can see all of the colors changing (and coordinated lights), too! To stay up to date on events, shopping, and dining in Sundance Square, visit their website here: https://sundancesquare.com/.

4. Visit the Stockyards
