The 4th of July is almost here! To make your Independence Day the best it can be, check out these tips below for music, outfits and activities!

Music:

What’s any party without music!? Below is a handcrafted playlist for your ultimate 4th of July barbeque.

Outfits:

If you have some extra cash to splurge on a brand new July 4th outfit, there are some majorly cute stars and striped items out there.

American Apparel:

Your one-stop shop for basics. They always have a great selection of American themed apparel around the 4th. Just be warned, it can get kind of pricey.

Nordstrom:

Once again, some super cute American flag items. These shorts are great for a BBQ and the fanny pack is perfect for a possible daytime party!

Brandy Melville:

If you don’t want such an “in your face” patriotism look, try incorporating red, white and blue into your wardrobe. Brandy has a lot of great basics to mix and match.

Location:

If you’re in the DFW area there are lots of great places to celebrate!

1. Fort Worth prides itself on one of the best firework shows in North Texas, but also involves lots of other fun activities throughout the day including live music, tons of food and tubing! More information at http://fortworthsfourth.com/.

2. Globe Life Park (Texas Rangers stadium) hosts an awesome “Fan Sleepover” event on the eve of July 4th where people can bring sleeping bags, sleep under the stars on the field and witness an incredible firework show. More information at http://texas.rangers.mlb.com/tex/fan_forum/sleepover.jsp.

3. Fair Park in Dallas hosts a July 4th extravaganza every year that includes foods, rides, entertainment and of course fireworks! It should be noted that the main viewing location for the fireworks is on the “midway” which requires a $5 to enter into the area. For more information visit: http://fairpark.org/index.php?….

Have a great 4th of July!
