In honor of your favorite campus publication, collegiettes, we ask you to eat Italian this week.
That’s right, Her Campus TCNJ is partnering with Mama Flora’s on Feb. 22 to raise money for our organization. Remember that awesome fashion show that we recently planned? Well, we want to be able to give our readers more events like that and what a better way to do so than to raise money while supporting one of our campus’ favorite local restaurants?!
So this Wednesday, instead of going to Eick, or T-Dubbs, grab a few friends and eat some (real) pizza from Mama Flora’s!
Don’t know what to order? Well, HC TCNJ is also here to help you learn about Mama Floras’s most popular dishes, as decided by customers themselves.
Fried Calamari.
We all know that it is a rare occasion that we are offered fish at on-campus dining spots. So instead of eating grilled chicken or a hamburger for dinner, splurge on a little calamari. It is a customer favorite at Mama Flora’s.
White Pizza.
We are offered various types of pizza at Eick, but it isn’t often that you see a white pizza. Mama Flora’s offers another customer favorite with its fresh spinach, tomato, garlic, olive oil and mozzarella cheese pizza. Try something new this week with this white pizza.
Pasta with Vodka Sauce.
Who doesn’t love pasta? You don’t have to be Italian to enjoy this dish, ladies. Try something a little different for dinner, with pasta and Mama Flora’s vodka sauce, which includes prosciutto and Romano cheese, with garlic and basil in a creamy vodka sauce.
Homemade Cannolis.
What’s a better way to end a meal than with a homemade, true Italian dessert? Exactly. Try Mama Flora’s homemade cannolis for a sweet ending to a delicious dinner.
