Procrastinate With These Personality Quizzes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

When assignments start piling up and you have tests to study for, club meetings to go to, laundry to wash, and stress to alleviate, the most logical thing to do is to surf the Internet for wild and outlandish personality quizzes. After all, it’s more important to know what cartoon character you are than it is to memorize DNA sequences. But, if you want to make your procrastination efficient, here’s a roundup of some of the best personality quizzes out there.

1. What Disney Princess are you?

The ultimate throwback to our childhoods – Disney and its princesses. This quiz will tell you if you are going to tame a beast, save your kingdom from your self-inflicted winters, or overcome the horrors of living with your stepmother. Take the quiz here.

2. What mythical creature are you?

If you’re the type of person who enjoys fantasy novels and movies, and loves Greek mythology, this is the quiz for you. It tells you who you’d be if you lived in an enchanted forest, and the cues it takes from your responses are pretty entertaining. Take it here!

3. What food matches your personality?

Who wouldn’t love this one? Maybe there’s a reason people like the food that they do. What if we like our favorite foods not because of the flavors or textures, but because they reflect who we really are. Find out what foods represent you here!

4. What Cheese are you?

If you want to take the food-personality relationship a step further, you can find out what cheese you are. Next time you invite your friend over for dinner, have them take the quiz before they come so you can plan your cheese board accordingly. Check it out here!

If you are doing some serious soul searching and want an accurate indicator or categorizer of who you are, there are some very comprehensive personality tests out there. I personally find the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator incredibly accurate because it feels like someone is describing my own mind to me.

Another pretty accurate personality assessment tool is True Colors. It uses a color categorization system to describe people’s personalities. True Colors does overlap in some ways with Myers-Briggs, so it is interesting to take them both.

A third option for this type of personality quiz is StrengthsQuest. Unlike the other two, it does not use an overarching grouping system, but it tells you what your strongest traits are.

Taking the quizzes online does require you to pay a fee, but check in your school’s career center or center for student success to see if it has one!
