If you’re interested in astrology and horoscopes, you may have heard about the “new” zodiac signs, as released by NASA. All our lives, we’ve been told we fit into one of 12 zodiac signs based on our birthdays, so you may be more than shocked to find out your whole life’s been a lie.
However, NASA claims it has not changed the signs, in fact, it was tweeted they have simply “done the math” and the constellation Ophiuchus, which the new sign is attached to, has existed since the original twelve were calculated and due to the shift in the earth’s axes has only become visible recently. NASA also says the Babylonians, the creators of the 12 sign Zodiac calendar, choose to omit Ophiuchus because it was inconvenient for their 12 month year.
Nevertheless, you might be curious about what your new sign is, or if it has changed at all.

I used to be a Libra, but with the sign change have become a Virgo. Oddly enough, I find myself caring much less about the change than I expected to. The new sign isn’t nearly accurate when it came to my personality, but then again, the old one wasn’t accurate either.
Whether or not you choose to let your new zodiac affect your life is totally up to you. You might even decide it doesn’t matter and ignore it anyway; after all, that’s what the Babylonians did.
