Story behind nickname: One day I came into class with a box of strawberry Special K bars and I just started handing them out and that’s when people started calling me Special K!

Major: Journalism/Professional Writing

Hobbies: Club volleyball, intramural volleyball, working out at the gym but also eating mass amounts of food at T-Dubs, stretching ears (gauges), and going to shows
Most memorable moment of high school: Being homecoming king because it was unexpected but awesome to win. Also being drum major. It’s a tie between the two. Thanksgiving game as drum major was ridiculously fun.
Favorite place on campus: The library. Floor 4. I spend countless hours in the library… I’m actually going to the library after our interview…
Favorite thing about TCNJ: The campus is beautiful, I love all the people that go here because there are no cliques and no superfluous drama. Everyone is very open and friendly and they really help make the transition from high school to college so much easier.
Favorite Actor: Bradley Cooper. I’m in love with his eyes. I wish I had his face, body, and voice… Hands down, he’s a cutie.
Favorite movie: The Notebook. No one knows that. As cheesy as that sounds. Or actually it’s a cross between the Notebook and 500 days of Summer.
Current favorite band/musician: Hundredth.Â
What’s an ideal first date?: I don’t believe in a traditional dinner and a movie. So maybe going to the city (maybe Times Square?) and treating her to dinner, walking around, and going on a hot air balloon ride in Central Park.
Pet peeves: I hate when people say you gauge your ears as a verb cause you don’t gauge your ears.Â
Weird Habbits: I’m an exhibitionist. I’m either shirtless or pantsless. I’ve done laundry half naked.Â
Three words that describe you: Charismatic, outgoing, and honest.Â
Plans for the future: Trying to get an internship at AP magazine (Alternative Press). But other than that, writing articles, getting information and presenting it to the public. I want to be a part of giving people a voice.
Why did you choose TCNJ?: To be honest, TCNJ was not my first, second, or third choice for college. But TCNJ had a journalism program that I heard really good things about. It also wasn’t that expensive to go here and I love it here. I don’t regret the decision at all. There’s no other college that’s perfect for me right now.
