The Jonas Brothers Are Back and TBH, My Life is Saved

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

My high heels and red dress were waiting for this moment since the 5th grade.

In case you live under a boulder or for some reason aren’t a Jonas fan, the JoBros are returning from their six-year hiatus and releasing a new song titled, “Sucker.” If that’s not enough for you (which, of course, it isn’t) Nick, Joe and Kevin will be starring as the guests of honor on, “The Late Late Show with James Cordon,” for an entire week takeover starting Monday, aptly titled, #LateLateJonas.

“Sucker,” described by the boys as a fun and fast-paced bop, will be released at midnight on Friday, March 1. In the teaser for James Cordon and the Jo Bros’ Carpool Karaoke, tweeted this morning, James picks up all 3 boys as they announce, “We’re back!”

Nick notes that the boys kept this secret from us for 8 months (really, how dare they). Their performance on the show will mark their first performance back, to which Kevin Jonas noted, “I’ve gotta dust off the cobwebs, here we go!” The trailer EVEN includes a snip of the new song, which sounds so classic Jonas Brothers, it’s amazing.

Check out the teaser here:

The rumors surrounding the group’s comeback spread earlier this week, as the Jonas Brothers’ social media accounts all mysteriously updated their profile pictures to black. Soon, trending on Twitter was #JonasBrothersBlackout, as fans sensed their dreams were about to come true.

They even brought back their iconic “Oh, how the tables have turned,” meme to say “Hello Again” to their fans. God, I love them.

The boys have pursued their own endeavors since their split in 2009, which broke all of our hearts. Nick pursued a solo music career and Joe went on to front the band, DNCE. Kevin moved out of the spotlight and into real estate. But, the band is getting back together, and we couldn’t be more excited.

I knew 2019 was going to be a great year. Enjoy this photo from my Jonas Brothers meet and greet from 2009.
