Whether you want to show school spirit or just have a cute and unique dorm decoration, these pennants are great! They’re a great craft to make with roommates and friends.

What you will need:

  1. Scissors
  2. Hole puncher (small handheld one)
  3. Scrapbook paper (or other paper or material you want to use)
  4. Twine
  5. Pennant Template: Here’s a free one!

Steps:

  1. Pick out what paper you want to use
  2. Trace template onto blank side of paper
  3. Cut out traced paper
  4. Repeat steps 1 & 2 with as many different styles/colors of paper
  5. Organize triangles how you want them
  6. Turn your cutout triangles so that the top is straight with bottom pointed
  7. Hole punch top two corners of each triangle
  8. String twine in through bottom of first hole on first triangle, and slide through top of second hole of same triangle, continue for as many cutouts you have
  9. Tie at both ends
  10. You can leave your pennant plain, or decorate with stickers, logos/letters, pictures, etc.
