The Challenge: Dirty Thirty Finale Reaction

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

The finale of The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty aired on Tuesday and the excitement was real. Viewers went in thinking the winner of the season would be revealed, yet, the episode ended in the biggest twist in The Challenge history – leaving me, amongst many, speechless. Here’s our reactions as the episode progressed:

When the episode begins, and you literally can’t wait to find out who wins the biggest cash prize in The Challenge history:

As usual, the top six are competing through blood, sweat and tears… and you’re just sitting in front of your TV like:

Then, TJ comes in with the twists – it shouldn’t surprise us at this point in the season, but really – come on TJ.

The winners of the last obstacle are to add additional time onto other competitor’s final time, and the group is forced to backstab each other once again.

And then TJ hits us with another twist: the winners of the following obstacle are to choose one person to sleep on the barren ground of the mountain all… night… long…:

But, at last, the final obstacle of the long and hard-hitting Argentina trip begins. Game faces on!!

The group crosses the finish line and it’s all over – we’re about to find out the big winner. Who will be taking home $450,000? Wait why is the episode ending…? OMG. TJ.

And that’s all folks – we have to wait, along with the contestants who completed The Challenge months ago, to find out who won on the reunion show next week. How is this even fair? This is torture.
