The night of January 26 marked the 56th Annual Grammy Award in Los Angeles, California and there were many artists and celebrities that showed up looking their best. The red carpet was overrun with stunning musicians in their equally stunning designer dresses. This isn’t an article meant to dwell on the gorgeous dresses that we can only dream of wearing, but rather, to focus on the trending hair and makeup looks we can (at least try) to recreate in our own bathrooms.
The month of January certainly did not stop the best dressed ladies of 2014 from looking bronze and beautiful. This was the year that we saw so many celebrities sporting gold and bronzed looks on the red carpet. Here we take a look at some of the artists that did it best.
1. Taylor Swift and Rita Ora wore a makeup look that had a pop of metallic color to complement their dresses, and staying true to the theme both ladies had applied just the right amount of bronzer giving them that fun-in-the-sun glow.
2. Model and wife of John Legend was the epitome a bronzed babe on the red carpet. Mrs. Chrissy (Legend) Teigen’s golden ombre beach waves, and side braid was tied together with her peach nude lip and bronzed blush.
3. And the number one spot for best bronzed look goes to Ms. Ciara. The mommy-to-be was absolutely glowing in her rose gold Pucci dress and golden highlights. Ciara completes the look with gold but subtle eye makeup, peachy lip color and gold bronzer that made her skin look especially radiant.
To get any of these following ladies looks, the key product you’ll need is bronzer. It does not matter what your complexion is; bronzer will work for anyone. To recreate any of the above looks you cannot go without bronzer, a little bit of eyeliner, maybe a shimmery eye shadow and definitely a lip color with a golden undertone. And just like that you can look like one of the bronzed beautiful celebrities from this year’s Grammys!
