I had the pleasure of sitting down with this week’s Campus Cutie, Alex, after a Circle K meeting, where he holds the Secretary position. “My Girl” by the Temptations was playing in the background. Caronna, a lover of timeless tunes, surprises members at the meetings with his “Track of the Week.”
A Junior Public Mass Communications major at the College, Caronna tells me that “I love helping people and making people happy, and when I came to TCNJ I made it a priority to find a service club.”
But besides his service with Circle K, he’s a Delta Tau Delta Brother, he’s on the Student’s Advisory Board for the Communications Department and he’s an Athletic Assistant at the Rec Center (Renaissance man, perhaps?)
The Beatles are his idols, Paul McCartney in particular, and if he had the opportunity to dine out with any celebrity in the world, it would most definitely be Sir McCartney “to thank him for the incredible music that filled my childhood.”
Caronna is quite the accomplished candidate, he even tells me that he once gave a speech at SeaWorld to over 700 people, and you bet he received a standing O.
Okay okay. So I’m sure you’re all wondering the obvious: Is he single? Is he?

This Ridgewood native hopes to one day work in the Big Apple, but as for now, he’s enjoying his time at the College. With his favorite spot on campus being the benches by the lake (especially in the fall) and his favorite meal equiv bite is a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant (only @ the Lib Cafe of course.)
