5 Ways to De-Stress Around Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCNJ chapter.

As we all know, college can be pretty stressful. With the end of semester and finals slowly creeping up on us, there is no doubt that we need to find ways to take a moment to relax. Luckily, on our beautiful campus, that can be very easy! Here are some ways to de-stress around TCNJ:

1. Walk (or even run) around the loop or head over to the gym. Exercise is a great way to de-stress because you get to release healthy endorphins that help your body and mind!

2. Find a nice place to sit and read a book. There are so many amazing spots to just chill outside on campus: by the fountain in the science complex, on the sand volleyball court, and even out behind new res! Pick a spot and a book, and just soak up some relaxation time.

3. Grab fro-yo in Campustown at Redberry! Who doesn’t like a nice reward after a long day of studying? Frozen yogurt with an endless supply of toppings is just the thing you need. Even ask some friends to tag along!

4. Watch netflix in your dorm. Take an hour (or maybe even more) and watch a movie or catch up on your favorite show.

5. Head over to events that are happening around campus. TCNJ always has at least one event happening per night, and all of them are usually a great time.
