After one of the roughest winters we’ve ever experienced, we want nothing more than a warm day to spend outside. One of our favorite ways to spend a warm weather day is by eating ice cream! Celebrate the first day of spring on Thursday, March 20th by indulging in some of the best ice cream near TCNJ!
1. Halo Farm – Tucked in the town of Lawrenceville, Halo Farm is TCNJ’s favorite ice cream shop. Put it on your TCNJ bucket list! Halo Farm is budget-friendly for collegiettes. You can even take your favorite flavors to go!
2. The Bent Spoon – Located in the charming town of Princeton, The Bent Spoon is home to unique and natural flavors. Try everything from dark chocolate orange to honey lavender! Enjoy your frozen treat while walking around the gorgeous Princeton campus.
3. Rita’s – If you’re in the mood for something classic and refreshing, nothing is more satisfying than Italian ice. Just around the corner from campus, Rita’s is close enough to walk to with friends (on a warm day!).
4. Yo~Licious Twist – Nestled in our home of Ewing, Yo~Licious Twist is a go-to for a collegiette craving some quick froyo. A hot spot for the sweet tooth, you can even customize your order with your favorite candy toppings.
5. Viva Gelato – Don’t be jealous of your friends studying abroad in Europe! You too can enjoy gelato. Located in Pennington, Viva Gelato offers something for every collegiette from milk shakes and smoothies to gelato.
