You have all the power to make yourself the happiest and best version of yourself. Why not start this month by showing yourself all the love that you deserve. Follow along everyday this month and give yourself some self-love!

Day 1: Create a vision board (for the month or the year)

One of my favorite things to do when a new month rolls around is to create a vision board for myself. Print out pictures and collage together a life that you envision for yourself. There is no need to even be realistic with this! Just have fun and create a life that is just beyond reach for you.

Day 2: Write a list of 10 affirmations to yourself

My 10 affirmations: I believe in the woman I am becoming. Let go of the need to control. I radiate positivity. I am becoming the best version of myself. I am setting myself up for success. My energy is limitless. I forgive myself for having a bad day. I am valuable. I will live today with purpose and passion. The more I love myself, the more I become my highest self.

Day 3: Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers

There is nothing better than gifting yourself a bundle of your favorite flowers. Give yourself the love and attention you deserve. Do not wait for someone to love you…love yourself first.

Day 4: Get a new set of nails

There is something about getting a full set of new nails that makes you feel whole. Make this fun by getting a color that matches the holiday season or a color that correlates with the mood you are feeling in your life.

Day 5: Try something out of your comfort zone

This could be one of the most difficult things to do. Take it from me. I am the type of person who hates to be taken out of their own little bubble. On this day I challenge myself and you to step out of our bubble (you can go back into it tomorrow).

Day 6: Call your mom and have a mommy/daughter day

Personally, these are the best days for me. My mom has been my best friend for as long as I could remember. Enjoy a lunch date, shopping day, or self-care day with your mom!

Day 7: Shut away the world! Put down your phone before 8 pm

Cleanse your mind of all social media. Instead of staring at your phone screen for hours before bed, pick up a book and read a few chapters to give yourself the time it needs away from the world.

Day 8: Schedule doctors appointments that need to be done

Say it with me…I will take care of myself both physically and mentally from here on out. Please put yourself first and make all those doctor’s appointments that need to be made in order to make sure you are happy and healthy.

Day 9: Go to a new workout class

Try a new workout that you wouldn’t normally try. This could be pilates, weight lifting, running, hot yoga, or any kind of exercise. Challenge yourself to find some new kind of exercise that you would love to do weekly.

Day 10: Walk away from a toxic relationship

This does not mean a girlfriend or boyfriend relationship. This could mean a toxic relationship between you and a friend or anyone who you feel you should walk away from. Let’s prioritize healthy and happy relationships in our lives.

Day 11: Paint! Sip! Movie night!

Grab a group of your friends and have the best girl’s night ever.

Day 12: Make a healthy breakfast

Start off the day with a meal that will fuel you and get you ready to tackle the day. Perhaps some avocado toast, a brown sugar oatmeal bowl topped with fruit, or some yummy banana protein pancakes!

Day 13: Pick up a new book

Personally, my goal for 2023 is to finish one book a month. Every time I flip to the last page of a book I feel so accomplished and ready to start the next one. Once you are hooked on a book there is something so exhilarating that you simply just could not put it down.

Day 14: Take yourself on a date

Call your favorite takeout place and treat yourself to a date with yourself. You are allowed to be in your own space when you need it.

Day 15: Grab a cookbook, flip to any page and try to make that dish!

This does not need to be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You could use this day to bake all of your favorite desserts.

Day 16: Take a trip to the beach and pack a picnic

The beach is my happy place. Find your happy place and go spend a few hours in the company of yourself or the company of others.

Day 17: Order a totally different coffee order

If you haven’t tried it yet my favorite coffee order is an iced brown sugar shaken espresso without milk or a vanilla iced latte with oat milk! I 10/10 recommend it.

Day 18: Write a thank you note to someone

This could be anyone in your life. I would also like to add that you could simply write this letter and never give it to the person you wrote it for. Just allow yourself to be grateful for someone or something.

Day 19: Clean out your closet day

Take a step back and have a refresh and reset day. You will feel so much better in your home when you know your closet is organized.

Day 20: Call someone who you haven’t talked to in a while

Catch up with someone important to you. The best kind of people are the ones who you do not have to talk to all the time but when you do it’s like nothing has changed. These people are the best kind of people.

Day 21: Social media detox day

Escape from a screen and enjoy your own space. Take a walk in the fresh outdoors or go out to dinner with some friends. Just do something that does not require a screen.

Day 22: Have a spa night with your girlfriends

Gather your besties and pamper yourselves!

Day 23: Cut one thing out of your life

Cut out the desire to please every person you meet. Cut out comparing yourself to others. Cut out negative friends and relationships. Cut out something that makes you feel sad.

Day 24: Buy yourself a candle and take a bath

Go to your local market and pick out your favorite candle and enjoy a night of tranquility. Take a bubble bath to clear your mind of all things that are cluttering it.

Day 25: Write a list of things that you love about yourself on a post-it note and tape it on your mirror

I love how creative I am. I love how loyal I am as a friend. I love my curly hair. Your turn…

Day 26: Write a letter of advice to your younger self

This is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Writing yourself a letter to your younger self you are writing down all of the things you learned throughout your life. You are showing all of the growth you have done as a person.

Day 27: Do one thing you are afraid of

Now I am not talking about cage diving with sharks (but you could if you really want to) but just something as simple as making the first move on your crush or going on a roller coaster because you’re afraid of heights. Do something that will give you the ultimate thrill.

Day 28: Don’t set an alarm clock! Enjoy some beauty sleep.

Sleep is the most important thing you need! Who cares if you spend the whole day in bed? Enjoy The days you get to relax…you don’t have many of them.

Day 29: Take a deep breath every hour of the day

Take one minute every hour to focus on what your mind and body are telling you at that moment.

Day 30: Write a goal for next month

Continue building yourself up to be the best version of yourself even though the month is ending. Challenge yourself to be better than you were last month.
