I love reading books in the same way that Rory Gilmore or Hermione Granger enjoys reading. In other words, I am an avid reader, especially when I was in High School. Unfortunately, in college free time is not something I always have as much anymore, but I still make it a point to go and find a good book to immerse myself in. Here are my top 10 book recommendations for this month:

1. Zenith: The Androma Saga

Written by Youtuber and Authors Sasha Alsberg and Lindsey Cummings

Source

It is a sci-fi romance novel that they co-authored and was very recently published. It is the first of a series and they made a book trailer for it on YouTube. This is about star-crossed lovers. The protagonist, is Androma or Andi and she is a  formiddable mercenary who encounters a heartless bounty hunter.

2. American Panda by Gloria Chao

Source

This is about a Taiwanese-American college girl whose parents want her to become a doctor and marry someone who went to an Ivy League despite the fact that she’s interested in someone else. This includes that stereotype of asian parents wanting their children to marry someone who attends a prestigious school and should be a very interesting and hilarious read.

3. The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin

“If you knew the date of your death, how would you live your life?” This is a novel about science and the possibility of immortality.

4. A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bathena

5. The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
