What To Do During Social Distancing When You’ve Done It All: Music Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TAMU chapter.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, one should be making responsible decisions like participating in social distancing. As many of us are returning home and have moved to online classes until the following semester, it can be hard to spend time away from friends. Especially with having so much free time to spend at home. So what do you do during your self-isolation when you feel like you’ve done it all already?

Here are a few ideas of what you can do during your social distancing period to avoid being bored out of your mind:

Make a themed Spotify playlist that you can share with your friends

Upload your own cover of a throwback song on YouTube

Write out your thoughts in a poem and set it to music

Learn to play your favorite song on the piano

Watch all the episodes of “Carpool Karaoke with James Corden”

Take out your record player and have a listening party all by yourself

Start a one man band and give a concert on your Instagram live

Watch the behind the scenes of your favorite music videos

Film a melodramatic music video for any songs by Lorde

Kickstart your Tik-Tok career and choreograph dances to songs you’re currently obsessed with
