Going back and forth
In a constant struggle.
No chance to be still,
Feeling weak as a bubble.
Both sides equally strong
But neither wants to win.
The rope burns more as they fight.
Their stamina wearing thin.
Valuing time more and more,
The two sought resolution.
They put down the rope
And leave together with conviction.
Holding hand in hand,
The rope lays behind them.
