Our hearts weigh heavy as we mourn the loss of one of our HC TAMU team members, Alexis Emmou. Alexis was a Junior, Communications major from Killeen, Texas. She loved reading and writing and hoped to one day become a television broadcaster. You could not deny that she touched so many lives and was loved by so many on this campus. Friends and family knew her as a kind soul who always had a smile on her face. She touched people’s hearts, even if she barely knew them. Her presence brightened people’s day and brought joy to those around her. Alexis was a bright and talented young woman and the Her Campus staff was lucky to have her as a member. Alexis will be missed by the HC community, the Aggie family, and everyone else who was lucky enough to have known her.
