Love A Good Peppermint Mocha? Top 5 In Bryan/College Station

During the holiday season, there are so many festive eats and drinks. Personally, when Christmas comes around, a hot peppermint mocha is my all-time favorite. Being a college student, I looked to find the cheapest but most delectable one in my college town. I would say I am the expert when it comes to peppermint mochas, so here are my top 5 places in College Station and Bryan, TX., from mid to exquisite.

Number 5

POV Coffee House in Bryan, TX. After ordering their Polar Espresso off the new holiday menu, I was pleasantly surprised. The Polar Espresso is a peppermint mocha espresso, I think best served hot. If you love strong coffee, this one is definitely for you. Personally, I like mine sweeter, so this was not my favorite, but I would still recommend it to anyone who loves the taste of a classic coffee.

Number 4

Dutch Bros Coffee in College Station, TX. When I got this drink, it was Christmas in a cup. The holiday designs this year are so cute. Their Candy Cane Mocha was espresso, peppermint, chocolate milk, soft top, and candy cane sprinkles. A lot is going on, but it’s so yummy. It was on the sweeter side, so if you love a sweet coffee, I recommend it. Dutch Bros service is super fast, too, so if you’re in a rush to get to class, go grab this quick coffee.

Side Porch Coffee Co, in College Station, TX. I ordered their candy cane mocha off the holiday menu, and it was delicious. This mocha was espresso, three daughters chocolate, peppermint syrup, and candy cane pieces, which I think would be best served hot. It was simple and a little sweet, but a solid drink. Plus, I loved the cozy and home-like feel of the shop; overall, a great experience.

Number 2

Lucky Goat Coffee Company in College Station, TX. Now this was a very close tie with my number one pick. I ordered the candy cane mocha with oat milk, and it was perfect. This drink is a white mocha with peppermint, which I think is best iced. It was the perfect amount of sweet, but still had that coffee taste. I think the peppermint wasn’t too strong, so if you like a faint peppermint taste like me, I highly recommend this coffee.

Polite Coffee in Bryan, TX. Not only was the atmosphere a great, cozy, and festive study spot, but their Peppermint Crunch Latte was also the perfect holiday drink. This latte was a peppermint mocha with a soft top. Polite has a really smooth and strong brew, so any coffee you try there is going to be amazing. However, their peppermint mocha was my favorite this season. It was strong but not overpowering, and had the perfect mix of peppermint. I highly recommend going to Polite for the Christmas vibes and this yummy latte.
