January is basically a built-in, fresh start for every year, and now that the month is almost coming to an end, here are a few of my faves across a whole range of categories. So, try them out and maybe it’ll be a part of your February Favorites <3

Drink: Venti Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam, 2 pumps of Caramel Bruless, and 2 pumps of White Mocha, made with Blonde Espresso

This is an INSANE drink but tastes SO SO good. In terms of sugar and price, it is definitely a treat drink, NOT an everyday order (at least for me). I had a free drink reward and used it to get this drink, and I seriously have not stopped thinking about it since.

Habit: Making my Bed

I really hate to say it, but my mom was right. It seriously is the best way to start your day and prevents me from getting right back into it after my morning classes. Not to mention my small room looks like 10x cleaner just by doing that. Not to say I do it EVERY day, but doing it most days definitely leaves you feeling good right off the bat.

Podcast: Only Friends & What We Said

I go through phases of being a podcast girlie or a music girlie, and let me just say, I am in my podcast era right now (or at least for like the next week or so hehe). Both of these tied for me this month, and I can totally see why. Both are hosted by two female podcasters whose senses of humor are so different, yet I identify with both of them so much?? What We Said discuss random trends or various topics, read hilarious user submissions, and just have the best BFF banter to listen in on. Only Friends is like the more adult version of the same thing, discussing Pop Culture and Media and deciding the verdict of Am I The A**hole stories from Reddit. Go give BOTH a listen!

Time of Day: The Hour Before I go to Bed

This is my MOST favorite time of the day. I love sitting in bed, like an absolutely degenerate, post-skincare, in a huge t-shirt and shorts, with my snacks and something to watch. I rotate between YouTube and a TV show. Currently, I’m making my way through The OC (the end of season 3 is CRAZY), and it’s just a completely me-time moment, and it’s what I look forward to all day.

Workout: 12-3-30 with Sprints

I have been loving the cult-favorite 12-3-30 workout. To be honest, I tend to drop it down to an incline of 10 after the first 10 minutes because I’m able to do it all in one stretch that way without breaks. I feel like people aren’t talking about how difficult it is?? Like, it is such a good workout! I will follow that with sprints, 30 seconds on 30 seconds off at a speed of 7.3. I will usually do 7 to 8 rounds, and between both parts of this workout, I am exhausted by the end but super proud of myself too :)

Snack: Skinny Pop Aged White Cheddar

The orange sectioned bad, NOT the yellow one, which is just normal white cheddar. This is the perfect salty snack for me cause I am definitely a salty-over-sweet individual.

Skincare: Overnight Sleep Masks

These are so good as they literally do all the hard work as you sleep, which is probably the most productive thing I have ever heard. You just end your nightly skin-care routine with it, go to bed, splash water on your face in the morning to rinse it off, and BOOM hydrated glowy skin. I’ve been using TONYMOLY – From Ganghwa Pure Artemisia Deep Night Sleeping Pack, a Korean skincare product, which we know are the best!

Activity: Ceramic Painting

Now, I’ve definitely done this before, but the last time I painted ceramic pieces was like way over a year ago, so I’m basically rediscovering it. The place I went to had so many options, from ring dishes, mugs, cacti, little animals, decor pieces, and so much more. So after picking your piece, you pick out your color, and go at it. We made it a little friend date, and spent almost two hours there, painting, relaxing, and catching up. It was a great way to spend time with friends and still leave with a really satisfying product, made with your own two hands.

Book: Yeah… not this month hehe. Let’s try again in February!
