Haunted houses, eerie ghost stories, and old abandoned buildings… no thanks! Here is a list of spooktacular things to do to still partake in Halloween if you do not like the gore of the holiday.

  • Unleash your inner witch fantasy by binging: Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus, The Twitches, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and all the Disney television show throwbacks.
  • Carve and paint pumpkins with your bffs
  • Go to a pumpkin patch and get all the festive, cute pictures
  • Once you carve that pumpkin, keep the seeds and roast them for a delicious snack
  • Grab those Pillsbury ghosts and pumpkin cookies… you might end up eating the whole package
  • Light all the pumpkin spice candles in your apartment to bring in the holiday spirit
  • Everything.pumpkin.spice
  • Can’t go wrong with giving out candy to kids in cute little costumes
  • Treat yourself and buy a big bag of candy… the day after Halloween because it will be on sale
