Welcome to my final college chapter chronicles. I’m going to try and stay up to date with this series if I have anything interesting to share and with that here’s a cringy quote people tell us: They say time flies when your having fun…can’t say they’re wrong.

As my last college semester arrives, I find myself thinking about my last four years at Texas A&M University. From getting my first tattoo freshman year to going through a worldwide epidemic to countless girl nights and finally receiving my Aggie ring, I can’t say that I would change anything from these past couple of years. Though I’ve made endless memories, some good and bad, I know those are the moments that will stay with me forever.

It hasn’t fully hit me yet that in a few short months, I will be walking across the stage to receive my Bachelors degree and I can’t help but wonder what this year will hold for me. I wonder if every senior feels this way where they have this urge to embrace the little college experience they have left while also stressing due to preparation for the real world soon.

I want to make the most of this semester. This is a time where we dive into our inner self that’s always wanted to be carefree (with the exception of job searching of course). A semester full of spending time at our favorite bars with our favorite people and finally trying new things because we don’t have much holding us back now.

With only having two courses this semester, this allows me to have free time to enjoy the hobbies I’ve lost touch with. But knowing that I have all this time, I have to remind myself to stay on track and don’t lose touch with the real reason for why I am here. This is the final chapter of my college life. Though I may not know what may happen in the next few months, if I find a job or meet someone or move out of state, I know that opportunities take time.

Howdy, I'm a senior English major at Texas A&M University. I'm a huge book lover and a movie fanatic. I'm here to share many stories with y'all.
