The Women’s Organization for Motivation, Expression & Nurturing (WOMEN) is a new student org (founded in 2016) looking to fulfill the goals outlined in its name. They are holding an event in Rudder Auditorium this Wednesday, March 8th at 6pm to celebrate the global diversity and positive impact women have had!
The event is said to feature guest performances by student organizations on campus, inspiring speakers form different fields, and showcase women’s achievements from a variety of cultures. We attempted to contact the organization on Sunday to confirm the list of performing organizations and speakers, but we were told the list had not been confirmed yet and haven’t gotten back to us with the list as of the day before the event. We’re confident that they’re just busy with preparing for tomorrow’s big event and that it’s going to be fantastic regardless!
