COLLEGE STATION, April 7th, 2023 – Aggie baseball celebrated yet another win at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park against the Texas State Bobcats. An exciting game was played Tuesday and the night was wrapped up with an Aggie win, ending the game with a score of 10 – 9.

“This was certainly the game to be at,” says Lourdes Pacheco, a junior at Texas A&M University, “although my spirits were a little shot in the top of the first inning when Bobcat, Ryan Leary hit a grand slam and gave Texas state a 5 point lead so soon in the game. I knew our team would catch up, but I was definitely a little nervous at first.

Luckily, for Aggie baseball fans, the bottom of the 4th inning put them in the lead with a home run by number 27, Hunter Haas. The base was loaded which brought the Aggies up from 5 to 7 points.

“Aggie baseball games are just so much fun,” says Thomas McCarthy, “this game especially because the scores the entire game were just shy of each other, but we came out on top. That made it a great Tuesday night.”

Aggie’s winning streak against the Bobcats continues for a fourth year in a row. Their next game is an away game on April 6th at 7:00 PM at Auburn University.
