4 Places You Must Go For Spring Break

Spring Break is known as the ultimate party break. However, it is always hard to figure out where to go, or what to do. I have created 4 awesome ideas for your next Spring Break, which is coming up by the way!

Did someone say ROAD TRIP?

Spring break is a week long, which means a lot of time to pack up the car with your best-friends and hit some close destinations that have never made it out of the group-chat you made three years ago. Indulge in brand new cities you have never been to or even camp in one of those cool glass domes, just make sure it is safe because we all know that is how many horror movies start.

Growing up, road trips were my favorite, and they still are. Being able to get your favorite snacks and stretch your legs when the car stops is always really nice. Although, the car ride itself is so special because you can bond with everyone in that car while passing by beautiful sights you have never seen before.

a little party never hurt nobody

Ever seen the iconic movie, Spring Breakers, with Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Rachel Korine all in one movie? Well, if you have, why don’t you head to Florida to live your very own version of this movie, preferably a little more PG. Now, if you have not seen this movie, take a day of your Spring Break to watch it.

Florida is a hotspot for surrounding colleges. It is a relatively close drive, thousands of airbnb’s to book, and who doesn’t love soft white sand with a clear ocean? Every time I have gone to Florida, even if it is not for Spring Break, I always remember how much I love the food, culture, and beach.

Après ski

If you are in Texas, like me, or anywhere close, I would recommend a trip to any part of the Rocky Mountains. Now you are probably thinking that it is not a very Spring Break kind of trip, but honestly it is! Ski season is in full swing that week which means A LOT of tourists, just like that beach trip I mentioned above. Take some hikes and embrace your inner mountain goat. Hit the slopes and try to look like Paige Lorenze while doing so. If you have no idea who this is, her instagram is @paigelorenze. Oh, and do not forget to take pictures for the gram, it is a vacation MUST.

viva la mexico

Ah Margaritas, Tacos, and a sombrero your dad probably got in Mexico on his bachelor party. Mexico is THE Spring Break central, aside from Florida, Bahamas, and that ski trip I just told you about but, definitely a place to go to soak up the sun, work on that tan, and drown your worries about how you did on your midterms in a 20 oz margarita (if you are of legal age). However, do not forget to start planning that trip now before prices get crazier than you after your 20 oz margarita.

Every time I have been to Mexico the sun kisses me so delicately that I feel like a goddess when I return back to College Station. The crowds know how to have a good time, hotel staff is always very nice and will sing and salsa with you, and the culture is always so amazing to be present in.
