As a solo artist, Harry has covered a variety of songs from many different genres. While exploring different styles, he has still found a way to make the songs he covers his own. His performance of Ultralight Beam at the Troubadour serves as a perfect example of that (talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before)! It is not a surprise that, as a Harry stan, I love every single one of those covers and they each hold a special place in my heart. So, as if my life is not complicated enough already, I decided to give myself a challenge. Why not pick ten of my favorite covers and rank them? Now you may think, is it really that hard? Well, let me tell you! You know when you go up to your mom and ask her who her favorite child is, and she says, “I love you all equally.”  Well, deep down she knows that even though she loves all of them, there is one that is truly her favorite. All she has to do is think about it really hard and use the process of elimination (which in my case is much harder like come on these are harry styles covers we’re talking about!). Somehow I managed to pick my top ten favorite covers of all time (don’t ask me how because trust me, I have no clue) and let me tell you you’re in for a surprise. Who knows, maybe at the end of this, you’ll have trouble deciding which cover is your favorite too?

Let’s start off at the bottom of my list of favorites…

10. Harry Styles covers “If I could fly” at The Forum

If you were here during the one direction era you know how special this song is. Trust me this cover had everyone in the crowd a little teary eyed.

9. Harry Styles covers “Landslide” with Stevie Nicks Live at the Troubadour

This is the content we like to see! An emotional performance as Harry gets to sing with one of the greatest legends Stevie Nicks.

8. Harry Styles covers “Sledgehammer” Live on the Howard Stern Show

Never new I needed this until now… they way that they killed this performance! *chef’s kiss*

7. Harry Styles covers “Big Yellow Taxi” at the Radio 2 Breakfast Show

Harry really gave us such a beautiful cover on valentine’s day and expected us not to fall in love?

6. Harry Styles covers “The Chain” in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

All I have to say is I miss the “I’ve got you for five more minutes…” speech!

5. Harry Styles covers “Stockholm Syndrome” in Sydney

It is a fact that One Direction’s best album is Four and how can you not love Harry’s cover of the best song on that album?

4. Harry Styles covers “Ultralight Beam” Live at The Garage

I know I can speak for the rest of us when I say that this performance literally gave me chills! CHILLS!

3. Harry Styles covers “Space Cowboy” with Kacey Musgraves in Nashville

I dare you to look me in the eyes and say that Harry’s vocals in this performance didn’t change your life. Exactly you can’t!

2. Harry Styles covers “Juice” in BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

No words literally no words! This performance really speaks for itself and I love what I’m hearing…

1. Harry Styles covers “You’re Still the One” with Kacey Musgraves at Madison Square Garden

The BEST cover like you can’t expect me not to be completely in love with another life changing duet between these two. I mean come on Harry covering Shana Twain at Madison Square Garden… literally a dream come true!
