It’s finally here, the moment we all needed after our awful midterms, spring break! As the saying goes, “work hard, play hard” and folks, we earned a big break after how hard this semester has been so far. I don’t know about you, but my brain battery needs a long recharge. What’s a better way to do so than enjoying spring break?
I know everyone’s heading to different places, but many people are now staying on campus due to the Coronavirus outbreak that put a halt on big spring break plans. So, either after a long nap or spending a day out by the pool, one of my favorite things about spring break is the ability to catch up on great shows to watch. Here’s three shows on Netflix I’m excited to watch (and rewatch):
1. The Society
The Society has to be one of my favorite Netflix originals ever created and it is a must rewatch for my spring break. Basically, if you have not heard of it, the plot revolves around a group of highschool students who go on a trip. When they come back, they find the town completely vacant and discover that everyone they loved is gone. Trapped in the fictional town of New Hope, they must start their own society and figure out how to live in this new world. It is a really great mystery and I am so excited for season two.
2. New Girl
I am so excited to finally have time to finish this show. For those of you who want a show with short episodes, humor, and has an amazing cast, New Girl is for you. I am totally that person who takes a quiz to find out what New Girl character I am and I found out I am most like Jess, which I kind of love, but my motivation level during spring break is definitely going to be Nick’s.
3. The Good Place
I cannot wait to start watching The Good Place! Mostly because I love Kristen Bell, but also because it puts such a comedic twist on the idea of the afterlife, along with the overall idea of ranking people based on their deads. I only saw one episode of this show so far and I am in love. This is definitely what I will be watching all break long. But really, who doesn’t love Kristen Bell?
