2022 was a successful year for films and theaters. Due to Covid-19, a lot of production processes got postponed, and theaters could not make any money. However, all that waiting was worth it. Multiple successful films, like Top Gun: Maverick, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and more, came out in the past two years, increasing theater sales. While at the theaters, audiences are introduced to trailers of the newest upcoming films; those who do not go to the theaters can see the advertisements and trailers dropped close to the release date. Social media accounts and apps that follow the announcements of projects will hold all the information about upcoming films, like the IDMB app.

Read the list below to get more excited about the film industry and its newest upcoming projects.

Based on the saga’s first film’s soundtrack, hopefully, we will receive another amazing soundtrack to this new film. Get excited to hear Shamiek Moore’s voice as Miles Morales again in the summer of 2023.

The Barbie universe will soon be bringing a live-action film in 2023. The main stars are Margot Robbie, Will Ferrel, and Ryan Gosling. The plot consists of Barbie taking on the real world and exploring her dreams. It will be an excellent film not just for young audiences but also fans of the actors and actresses as well. The release date is expected in July of 2023.

Joker: Folie a Duex (2024):

The sequel to the world-shocking film Joker (2019) will be directed by Todd Phillips. Joaquin Phoenix keeps his dark award-winning role as the Joker. A star who was recently cast as Harley Quinn will grab the audiences’ attention as she is the one and only: Lady Gaga.
