Top 10 Teen Wolf Characters (And the 3 Worst)

If you’ve seen my first two articles, you know I am an avid fan of Teen Wolf. Recently they have announced some of the characters returning for the upcoming movie that is supposed to come out this year (fingers crossed!). So in honor of that, I have decided to rank my top 10 characters and my 3 worst characters.

  1. Theo Raeken

Oh, he is one of my favorite characters. When he first came, and everything went down in season 5 I did not like him, but in season 6, I became a Theo simp. Like he had such a good character arc, and I became so much more understanding of him. Like he was manipulated by the dread doctors since he was 7 to 8 years old, and if he wanted not to be killed, he had to do what they said.

  1. Isaac Lahey

The first Teen Wolf character I ever simped for so hard. I love this man in words I can’t even describe. He is tied for my all-time favorite character, and if he isn’t in the movie, I’ll cry. When he left, I was so upset; I get that Daniel wanted to leave the show, but why couldn’t he come back for the last episode? He wasn’t killed off for a reason.

  1. Derek Hale

I love this man, he is so damn hot, and Derek is just a great character. He has to have some of the most demons in this show (besides Theo). Like he’s been going through hell since he was a teenager (we don’t know how old he exactly is). He is tied for my all-time favorite character with Isaac. He was such a good Alpha really, and he cared for his betas even though he didn’t show it all the time; ,he was just scared to show his emotions after last time when Kate burnt his whole family alive.

  1. Stiles Stilinski

He was my first favorite character, and he had great intuition. I know Stiles’ stans are not going to be happy that he is so low, but it’s my opinion. He is so hilarious and probably one I relate to the most as we share some characteristics (aka intuition). I have a Stilinski Beacon Hills lacrosse sweatshirt, and it’s one of the best things I own. He moved down to 4 after season 6, Theo, but I still love him to death.

  1. Melissa McCall

I love you, Melissa. Mama McCall is such an amazing mother like no one else would put up with what she has been through. She’s an amazing role model for girls. I don’t know what other word to describe her other than amazing, and I’ve said that already.

  1. Malia Hale

At first I wasn’t her biggest fan, but then I was like, ok, I love you. I love her honesty and how sometimes she acts before thinking. And her in her school is like me in math class. She just says what everyone is thinking and just doesn’t care. It’s great.

  1. Kira Yukimura

She’s a sweetheart and does not deserve the hate she gets. She cared about everyone and wanted to help. People hated her just because she dated Scott after Allison. Kira was an amazing and strong character. It doesn’t matter that she dated Scott cause she was her own person.

  1. Liam Dunbar

He’s adorable and had way too much put on his shoulders as a newly turned wolf and like barely any support. He cares a lot, even though his I.E.D sometimes breaks through. He is a mini Scott but also not really, as situations were very different, and their personalities differ a bit.

  1. Scott McCall

Scott McCall, the true alpha himself. Definition of carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He and his pack went through it time and time again and lost anchor because she died, then became this grown alpha who takes in wolves from packs that Monroe has killed. He truly has grown up since the beginning of the show even with people taking advantage of his forgiving nature.

  1. Chris Argent

Amazing character arc. From the hunter who followed his awful father to basically part of the pack and most likely marrying into a family with werewolves and taking care of his dead daughter’s werewolf boyfriend after she dies. Like Sir, I love you and your arc.

And the worst…

  1. Allison Argent

Now this one is pretty controversial, but I hate Allison Argent. Since the start of the show, I found her so annoying, and after season 1, she almost became unbearable. I wasn’t sad when she died, like the only reason I felt a sliver of sadness was for everyone else. In my mind, she was basically like a pick me, girl.

  1. Hayden Romero

Hayden could have had so much more potential than what she was stuck with. They just made her Liam’s girlfriend and that was almost all of her personality; the other half was a little pick me with I can do no wrong. She would have been an amazing character if she was written a different way.

  1. Gerard Argent

Now, Gerard, I hate with a burning passion. Like he is just an awful human being who did anything for his own gain. An example is killing supernaturals and having a code that if you are a bit too unalive yourself, but since he thinks he is almighty in his mind, he had Derek forcefully bite him in the hopes he would turn so he wouldn’t die. But then, when it didn’t work, he still tried to kill supernaturals.
