Starbucks Holiday Drinks!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tampa chapter.

On Thursday November 4, Starbucks announced that their holiday drinks are now available! Along with the holiday cups. Did you know Starbucks first began giving out holiday cups in 1997? To be around still today, holiday cups are clearly peoples favorite. Coming out with new bright, joyful, and colorful designs every year, they just keep getting better! You might have to wait in an exceedingly long line or get their super early but, who cares! It’s officially Christmas season.

Some classics on the holiday drink menu are, peppermint mocha, toasted white chocolate mocha frappuccino, chestnut praline latte, caramel brule latte and Irish cream cold brew. A new drink; iced(can be made hot) sugar cookie almond milk latte. Sounds like Christmas in a cup! Plus, who doesn’t love an iced drink when it’s below 40 degrees? This drink is Starbucks’ first drink to be made with non-dairy milk, it has sugar cookie syrup and sprinkles on top. Yum!

For the non-coffee lovers or anyone who just wants some good-ole hot chocolate, there is a peppermint hot chocolate! Along with these holiday drinks and cups, they also offer a new cake pop; a reindeer. Traditional snacks such as a sugar plum danish and a snowman cookie are also back.

As Starbucks says, “let the fa la las begin.”
