IX

Time and time again I begin to think of you

Honestly, I don’t even know what to do

It’s suffocating you see

I am on my knees, please…

Huh, this begging won’t really help you

Or me

I know

Believe me

I know

That you will simply just let me be

My body aches to be back in that time

To be back in the summertime

In our prime

As time goes by I have begun to realize

It is not you that I miss

It’s the bliss

Of getting lost in someone eyes

Not yours really, but anyones

Of being  loved and cared for

Of finally not feeling alone

More time went by and my eyes were opened

I don’t need you

I’m not broken

It’s been long overdue

I can’t believe I hadn’t realized until this moment

I am me

Which means that…

I am all I need
