What is the best advice you have ever received? That life comes in seasons, and you have to welcome every season with an open heart. Some opportunities, situations, and relationships are temporary…and that’s okay. Go with the seasons. Go with the flow. Don’t force anything, just feel the breeze, listen, and learn along the way.
What would be your ideal Valentines date? Going on a hike, grabbing some Chipotle (OH MY GOD I LOVE CHIPOTLE), taking a night drive, looking at the stars and having a long talk about our favorite cookies, our favorite movies, and our favorite puppies! And then eating cupcakes.
What is your favorite quote to live by? “You know what’s really, powerfully sexy? A sense of humor. A taste for adventure. A healthy glow. Hips to grab onto. Openness. Confidence. Humility. Appetite. Intuition. Presence. A quit wit…a woman who realizes how beautiful she is.” – Courtney E. Martin
How are you involved on campus? I’m the President of Better Together (the interfaith group on campus, which is really fun. You should definitely come! There are yummy cookies and tea and hot chocolate!) and the student coordinator of Faith, Values, and Spirituality (come say hi to me in the Wellness Center!). I’m a member of the President’s Leadership Fellows in Cohort 6, and I’m a staff member (Facilitator) on the Low Ropes Challenge Course on campus (the one behind the softball field).
What would you do with a million dollars? I would eat a lot of Chipotle. A LOT. OF. CHIPOTLE.
What do you do to relax and unwind? I love hiking! Also, after a long day, I love watching Friends and Modern Family with a cup of tea in my sweats. “Sweat pants, hair tied, chillin wit no makeup on, that’s when you the prettiest…”
