Since the Tampa weather has been rather chilly lately, it seems only right to spend our extra time curled up in bed with some snacks binging on new Netflix! Below is a list of some of the best new shows Netflix has released to keep you entertained and feeling binge satisfied!
1. Sex education
Sex education is about a teenage boy in England whose a virgin with a sex therapist for a mother. As if that wasn’t cringe-worthy enough, he keeps seeing his peers around him not only start to have sex but have sexual issues. He decides to team up with the attractive yet outcasted girl in his grade to offer them advice and end up learning more from each other than they expected. This show will make you smile and laugh endlessly and leave you with a super warm feeling in your heart after finishing it.
2. The Ted Bundy tapes
This short 4 part documentary series takes a look at the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy and trails you throw a timeline of the actions that occurred during his killing spree of over 30 young women. While this show can be thought of as being downright terrifying, it actually really looks into the mind of a criminal and was extremely gripping and interesting. You’ll find yourself
feeling like you don’t want to get out of bed after, but you’ll wanna go tell all your friends how crazy it was!
3. The worlds most extraordinary homes
This show is wonderful because even if you don’t really care about houses it has wonderful shots of beautiful places all over the world. Each season takes you to four different countries to explore very unique and exciting homes and the people that inhabit them. It’s a very nice and refreshing reality show!
4. You
When I started watching you, I didn’t know what to expect. 8-10 hours later I was finished watching the show. I had watched it all the way through the night. This show centers around a young attractive book store manager who becomes infatuated with one of his customers. So much so, he ends up falling for her and dating her, but has a problem with letting anyone come between them. Be prepared, once you start this twisted series, you will not be able to stop!
5. The good cop
I almost didn’t click on this show but found myself bored one afternoon and decided why not. The show focuses on an ex cop, who was banned due to his intermixing with some shady characters and his son, who is a goody two shoes detective now. It bounces between new and old crimes and shows a lot of father and son bickering. It’s both exciting and funny, and is a good light-hearted show to watch if you have some time to kill.
