This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tampa chapter.

Meet Emily Schonaerts! Yes, she is a natural ginger and works at Disney. How cool is that?

Name: Emily Schonaerts

Age: 21

Major: Criminology with minor in Psychology

Hometown: St. Louis, MO

Her Campus Position: Campus Celebrity & Cutie editor

How are you involved on campus? I am in Alpha Chi Omega. Aside from being an active sister, I am also the Vice President of Intellectual Development, meaning I am in charge of watching the sorority’s academics and work to help the girls maintain a good GPA. I write for Her Campus and edit the Celebrity & Cutie articles. I also work for Campus Safety and Security.

What has been your favorite memory at UT? Running back to my sisters after the Rho Gamma reveal. Little shenanigans like roaming Plant Hall and the dorms looking for new decorations for my room

What is your favorite SpongeBob episode and why? How could one narrow it down to one? Anything with a Patrick moment:

“Is this the Krusty Krab?” No this is Patrick

“Oh boy, 3 am!”

“Shoes from Texas are dumb”

If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, which 3 would you pick? Cheese pizza, Nachos and Ice cream

Who is your hero? My parents

3 words to describe yourself: Ginger, ginger, ginger? Just kidding. Funny, dedicated, Enthusiastic

What is the funniest ginger joke someone has made at you? “But you’re a ginger?!”

What is your favorite part about yourself? What is your least favorite part? Favorite: I have a unique personality. Least favorite: I must take a nap every day or sleep in

If you could be one pair of shoes, what shoes would you be? Purple vans or converse

What is your ideal job? If I can do something related to Forensics that would be great. I would love to be a crime scene analyst or work with evidence in solving cases. I think it would also be cool to be a private investigator or a detective.

If not, there’s always Disney.
