With graduation only a month away, it’s time for all of us seniors to start to reflect on the past four years of college. Although we feel like we have done it all and so much more, there are some things we still need to complete before graduating. You can only do college once, so make sure to check these things off of your bucket list before May 9th.Â
1. Climb the Minarets
Not to be basic, but everyone needs to do this at least once at UT. The views are breathtaking, and I’m sure the walk up to the fourth floor of Plant Hall is as well (but really, I can’t breathe after the second floor).
2. Sneak into the pool after hours
This would be legen…wait for it…dary. But really, if you have done this you automatically win in my book.
3. Drive a golf cart
Whether you have to steal one, or badger a Laser Team driver into letting you take the wheel, you must whip around campus in one of these.
4. Take a selfie with President Vaughn
Last year at graduation President Vaughn made it very clear that he wanted nothing to do with all of your selfies, but maybe he has finally had a change of heart. One selfie never hurt anyone, right?
5. Get on a first name basis with Tony in the café
Not only will he make you the most amazing omelet you have ever had, but he will also find your future husband. After talking to him for only a few short minutes, he will already know the exact type of guy that you like. Thanks for never setting me up with the guy wearing neon yellow sneakers, Tony!
6. Swim in the Hillsborough River
I’m kidding. Please never do this.
Will you complete everything on your bucket list before you walk across the stage? Well seniors, the time is ticking!
