5 Spooktacular Healthy Halloween Snacks

1. Strawberry Ghosts

You’ll need:

  • Strawberries
  • 1 pkg. white chocolate or almond bark
  • Baking sheet
  • Wax paper
  • Chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips 

How-To: Slice the tops off your strawberries, roll in melted white chocolate, and apply sprinkles for eyes and a mouth!

2. Zucchini Eyeballs

You’ll Need:

  • 1 medium – zucchini
  • 1/2 cup – marinara sauce, store-bought
  • 3 oz. – cheese, mozzarella, part skim milk
  •  8 jumbo – black olives, canned

How-To: Slice zucchinis in horizontal circles, top with marinara sauce cheese and olives, and cook for 2-4 minutes in an oven. Be careful, they cook fast!!

4. Banana-Pillar

You need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Raisins
  • Red Fruit Snacks

How-To: Slice banana and put pieces back together with peanut butter in between.  Break pretzel sticks in half for legs, stick raisins on for eyes, and a fruit snack on for a tongue!

5. Ritz Cracker Spiders

You’ll Need:

  • Ritz Crackers
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Cream cheese, unsalted peanut or almond butter
  • Small dried blueberries or cranberries

How-To: Spread cream cheese or butter between two crackers; use pretzel sticks for legs, and place dried fruit for the eyes! So Simple!
