  • Here’s a video of very last-minute dollar store costume ideas. It’s not serious, it might at least inspire you to spend as little as possible. It’s also hilarious. So now that we’ve had some comedic relief, here’s some legitimate costumes you can do.

  • Here’s some costumes that you can do with a friend! A lot of these are clever and aren’t too popular. Using these costumes will make you stand out and serve as a great bonding experience for you and a friend! It’s a win-win. They do require some DIY skills, but if you have the extra time this is perfect.

  • This video contains several simple outfits that are still recognizable. They’re also really comfy, so if you go out for Halloween you’ll be able to be comfortable, while still looking cute. These costumes are more party centered rather than family centered, so keep that in mind.

  • This video is geared towards group costumes. If you’re going with three or more people, this is a great option. Most are pretty basic and don’t take much time. If you and your friends haven’t found that perfect group party costume yet, here’s your chance. Most are pretty original, so no one should end up wearing the same things.

  • This video is perfect if you got invited to a Halloween event last minute. Most of these costumes can be made from items you have laying around your room. There is little preparation needed for most of these. They’re pretty modest, so if you’re looking for more of a party look, you may want to tweak these a little bit.

  • If you’re still looking through these videos and nothing is speaking to you, here are some ideas that can be found on Pinterest to copy, or are open to your own creative interpretation:

  • A Scarecrow

  • A Deer

  • A Cat/ Mouse/ Any Animal you can think of

  • A Cat Lady

  • A Mime

  • Waldo (look at our hashtag #hcwhereswanda on Instagram!)

  • A Cowboy

  • A Hippie

  • Your Favorite Cartoon Character

I hope you found a costume for this Halloween season! I know I have tried some of these in the past and they have been a hit. Halloween costumes should be fun and look cute, but they don’t need to cost that much or take too much effort. Happy Halloween!
