Three Simple Ways to Show Your Susky Spirit!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Susqu chapter.

As the first half of my first semester at Susquehanna comes to a close and cooler fall weather rolls in, I find myself trying to find new ways to show my Orange and Marron Pride. For the first few weeks, it was easy to just walk around in a t-shirt with Susquehanna’s logo and colors on it and be on blast with my pride, but what am I supposed to do when I have to bundle up and brace the cold? If you’re in the same place as me don’t worry, I’ve come up with three simple inexpensive ways to show off your Susky Spirit!

  1. Nail Polish!

This one is really simple, you can do tons of patterns or nail art with the Susquehanna colors or symbols! Do full orange on one hand and full maroon on the other, or do just the tips, or whatever else you want. I’ve found that Pinterest is the best source for the nail inspiration!

  1. Scarfs!

I saw a girl I work with wearing the cutest solid color maroon scarf. I got so inspired that I’m going to knit my own! I think the scarf is a really simple and versatile way to go because you can order a bunch online, or at the school store, and get creative with how you wear them! Plus, they’ll keep you warm at football games!

  1. Socks!

I find that this way of showing pride is my favorite. You can find solid color socks and mix and match them or stick with a single color. They look adorable peeking out of boots! Plus, just like the scarf they’ll keep you warm and are a subtle way to accessorize any outfit!
