Spring Style According To My Favorite Instagram Influencers

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Susqu chapter.

Spring is officially here and if you’re anything like me, you can’t wait to change out your winter wardrobe for some lighter garments with more vibrant shades. I’m no fashion expert, but I follow a lot of highly fashionable women on Instagram. Here are just a few spring fashion trends I’ve come across recently according to my favorite “Instagrammers”.

1. Bright Colors

Becca Tilley isn’t afraid to rock bright shades to celebrate the new energy that blooms with the spring season! Don’t hold back – liven up your closet this spring with vibrant colors!

2. Off-the-Shoulder tops

This trend started last summer, but it’s still going strong. I’m stoked that I get to wear my off the shoulder tops from last year while still being able to buy new ones to wear this season! Perrie Edwards rocks a vibrant yellow off the shoulder top in this ‘gram.

3. Patterns on patterns

Patterns are always fun! Pick your favorite and double the fun by wearing it on the top and bottom like Naz Perez does so well here.

4. Statement tassel earrings

Tassel earrings used to be kind of tacky, but now they are super stylish! Take it from Bekah Martinez who, based on her Instagram profile, has been a fan of tassel earrings for a while.

5. Flowy pants

Lottie Tomlinson is a total fashionista who always is up to date with trends. Flowy pants are not only super comfortable, but they are super light and come in a ton of patterns.

6. Polka dots

Raven Gates owns her own boutique, so clearly she has a thorough knowledge of what’s trendy. This polka dot top she wears may seen pretty basic, but let’s be real… polka dots will never go out of style!

7. Jumpsuits

It seems like every store I’ve shopped at recently has jumpsuits for sale. They come in so many different designs, so anyone can find one they like!

8. Stripes

A staple of any spring closet is a simple striped dress like this one Amanda Stanton wears. Stripes are always fashionable!

Hopefully now you know have some ideas of how to freshen up your spring wardrobe, but where can you get these items? Well, if you check out the Instagram posts in this article, most of the outfits are tagged. However, my personal recommendations are Francesca’s, Forever 21, H&M, Topshop, and American Eagle.

Now… go get shopping, girl!
