Dressing up is something that I have grown to appreciate over the years. Whether it was looking for a prom dress or a dress to wear to a party, dressing up has turned into a fun process. Listening to “pump up” music while doing my makeup and putting on a cute outfit never fails to put a smile on my face. Now, I even like getting dressed up for class because I feel like I have so many cute options. Some of my favorite outfits consist of fancy pants, a nice sweater, a necklace, and some cute booties. While I am far from a fashion expert, dressing up is something that I enjoy because it makes me feel good.

My mom always used to tell me that looking good is feeling good, and she is right. Whenever I get dressed up and do my makeup, I feel more confident and sure of myself. Dressing up also gives me the range to express myself and gravitate towards styles that I like to wear. Looking my best helps me feel good and puts a powerful light on my day. I know that when I am confident, I am fun to be around and dressing up helps me get into a better mood.

Dressing up to impress myself is something that I have been working on for a while, and it is finally starting to pay off. Now, I am able to find comfortable clothes that are extremely cute and make me happy. Dressing up helps me put my best foot forward, literally. I love shoes. It’s kind of a problem. Finding cute shoes give me a confidence boost like nothing else, and I honestly have no idea why. I think it is important to find whatever gives you confidence and hold on to it tightly.

Growing up, I was not a very confident person. I have found that dressing up makes me feel better about myself because I look better and feel more content. Dressing up gives me the ability to control what I wear and what I look like and also have fun while doing it. I love to shop for cute clothes, so it also gives me an excuse for shopping. While it took me a while to appreciate getting dressed up, it has also given me confidence and more body positivity. It’s good to love who and what you are, and dressing up has helped me realize that.
