  1. Start a bullet journal

Bullet journaling is a trend that started earlier this year. After getting inspiration from Pinterest this summer, I started one myself. You can write whatever you want in it, and spice it up in your own creative way! I created weekly pages that I use write down what I did each day as a sort of memory journal/diary. For me, this is a great way to relax. However, you can write/draw whatever you like in your bullet journal! All you need for this is a journal and some fun colored writing utensils.

  1. Buy a planner

If you don’t want to bullet journal which is essentially making your own planner, you can just buy a premade planner! I have one that I use to keep track of my academic work. This is probably the most straightforward way to get your life organized and on track.

  1. Make lists

I am the biggest fan of making lists. I have a whiteboard in my room where I write down my goals for the day. I also write lists all over post-it notes and stick them where I will see my reminders for things. Having these visual reminders right in my face makes me never forget what I have to do, and crossing things off makes me feel accomplished!

  1. Use the Reminders app on your iPhone

Without this app, I would seriously be lost. Although I do write in my planner to keep track of things, I know I will always have my phone with me. The Reminders app is already preset on your phone (if you have an iPhone), so why not use it!

  1. Clean your room regularly

I have made a habit of tidying up my room every night before I go to bed. This way, I wake up to an organized room and I’m not overwhelmed with the thought of having to clean it. Although I unintentionally developed this habit, you can make a conscious effort to do this in order to make your life more organized!

Between making lists everywhere I go, bullet journaling, writing in my planner, and using my phone’s Reminders app, I consider myself to be a very organized person. I hope these tips will help you to become more organized, as well!
