Mother Nature did not come to play when she gave us 40 degrees and strong winds this week out of nowhere! Now that we’re finally experiencing actual fall weather here at Susquehanna, it’s time to pull out your heavy knit sweaters and cute boots from your closet. You no longer need your ripped jeans or shoulder tops, so tuck those away. This time of year, we’re calling for warm colors like various shades of blue, purple, brown, and mustard yellow. You want your fall look to keep you warm and cozy throughout the day, and cute of course! Luckily, I’ve come up with five items every gal should have in her closet just in time for fall.

1. A knit sweater is a must

Match it up with cute accessories like a necklace or even a hat.

2. Blue jeans

A must all year round, but a bigger must for the fall season.

3. Ankle boots because they keep your feet warm

Whether black, brown, or dark blue, ankle boots are an essential you can’t go wrong with.

4. Scarves, scarves, and more scarves!

Having a variety of different style scarves will give your outfit a unique touch.

5. If you go to SU, a plaid shirt is probably already in your wardrobe

Hope this helps! Enjoy the fall season looking fabulous!
