What Your Coffee Shop Says about You

Starbucks

You’re a perfectionist.  You care about the beans your coffee is made of and how fresh it tastes. You’re not just the “average” coffee drinker. No matter which Starbucks you go to, you appreciate your barista who listens to your order of a grande, 2% non-fat, extra hot latte, with cinnamon on top. Your friends think you’re crazy for spending four dollars on a latte that you could buy somewhere else, and may say something along the lines of, “It tastes just as good as one from Dunkin Donuts.” Hearing that line is an insult to you. You know you deserve every detail in your cup of coffee to be specialized to fit your needs. You’re a hard worker, and your drink of choice is your treat for all that you do.

Capitol Coffee House

You’re a professional or student who enjoys “me” time while reading the Boston Globe. You love how conveniently close Capitol Coffee House is to your highly demanding job right downtown.  Coffee gets you through the day, and Capitol Coffee House knows just how you like your coffee made! You’re a busy bee who is always on the go, so this “ma / pa” place brings you back to reality during a long day when you need it most. Chances are you’re a regular, and like to buy your breakfast along with your simple medium regular coffee.

Dunkin Donuts

“America runs on Dunkin” and so do you!  You like the classics.  Dunkin Donuts fulfills your coffee needs in every way. You like to stick to a routine, and in that routine you need your medium French vanilla coffee to keep you going.  If you’re a Dunkin drinker chances are no other coffee tastes as good to you. You like to keep it simple, and occasionally twist it up with a seasonal special. Whenever you’re on the go to school or to work there’s a Dunkin right at every corner keeping you on your feet!

Thinking Cup Coffee

If you’re drinking Thinking Cup Coffee, you’re most likely staying in the coffee shop for a little bit. You’re laid-back, and like a quaint setting to drink your coffee. You take things as they come, and value the time you have during the day to get things done. You’re a classic hipster, and this is your go-to spot. The Thinking Cup is the kind of shop that you can’t just go in quickly and leave, it’s worth the stay. It’s not the best place to do homework–since it’s usually filled with 20-somethings chatting and hanging out–but it’s still a cool place to grab some coffee and hang out for a while. Apart from their coffee, their tea is amazing and they have a super friendly staff.

Boston Common Coffee

If you’re drinking Boston Common Coffee, you’re most likely staying there to do your homework or grabbing a coffee after class. You’re likely a student, who can’t sit still in the dorm or apartment to get homework done, so Boston Common Coffee offers the best place to do this. You’re also a foodie, and rather than sticking with the staple items that Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts has to offer, you are interested in the signature items off this decadent menu as well. This is a place where you can get your not so common sandwich or a salad. If you’re at Boston Common Coffee, you’re probably less worried about your drink, and more worried about the best setting to get your homework done.

Peet’s Coffee

If you’re drinking Peet’s Coffee, you’re the type of person who tends to be rushing around. This isn’t a bad thing, you just love to take a lot on and need to keep busy all the time. You’re a diligent student who is probably on the way to a class from work and figured you’d stop in the Sawyer Café. You’re also very frugal, and this is a cheaper option than the Starbucks 73 Tremont, and it’s great coffee for the price. You probably have no time to worry about some fancy latté when you’re quickly stopping to get Peet’s, so their flavored iced coffee is the best solution.
