The perfect start to fall
Fall has just begun, and there are already exciting events Boston has to offer us. The weather is
finally cooling down to the perfect walking temperature. Naturally, I took advantage of the blue
skies and crisp air by walking down Newbury Street. I was seeking inspiration for an article to
write when I noticed autumn decals on a store– an UGG store. I walked inside and was warmly
greeted by employees who shared that it was their grand opening (September 22nd).
The jackets and slippers were soft and stylish– perfectly fitting fall’s aesthetic and color scheme.
The entire store, though small, was cozy and encapsulated the vibe of autumn. I saw adorable
beanies that reminded me fall doesn’t last long in Boston, and I debated succumbing to their
marketing techniques. I ultimately decided not to purchase anything and when I got home, I did
some digging.
It turns out that the UGG pop-up store is here for a limited time. UGG will be in Boston until
January 3, 2027. You’ll have plenty of time to shop there, but there’s one more thing you should
know about UGG before I list more upcoming events: From September 26-27th only, anyone
who buys a pair of Classic UGG slippers has the option to customize their purchase with Peanuts
character designs. Yes, the quintessential symbols of fall: Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and 13 more
characters to choose from. The store is located at 171 Newbury Street. On Saturday, they will
open at 10am and close at 7pm. On Sunday, they will open at 11am and close at 6pm.
To start off fall right, here are some more events this weekend you don’t want to miss.
9/26 – The Barbie Truck Original Icon Tour will stop at Assembly Row in Sommerville. This
event offers exclusive merchandise that is only available on this tour. The pop of pink will be a
perfect complement to the warm colors of autumn. Very Y2K.
9/26 3:30-7pm – Take the commuter rail to Roslindale to grab dinner at the Dumpling Festival. It
will be held at Adams Park and Birch Street Plaza.
9/26 2-6 pm – If you’re a cat lover, head over to Cambridge for the Cat Tour and Meowfest in
Cambridge. You’ll be walking from Cambridgeport, Dana Park to 70 Magazine St., greeting as
many cats as you can along the way.
9/26 2-11 pm – Fall Fest returns to High Street Place. Enjoy games, live music, and fall flavors at
this cozy event. Bring a friend and get into the fall spirit.
9/26 12-5 pm – Over 50 vintage vendors will be at Found’s Roof Garden Vintage Market and at
325 Main St, Cambridge. If you want to find new clothes or just meet new people, stop by!Â
9/26 12 pm – If you want to jump right into Halloween, you can pop into the Spooktastic Book
Fair at Roundhead Brewing Company. There will be over 60 authors, artists, and publishers in
attendance to appreciate horror literature and art.
9/26 5-8 pm – Dunkin and L.L. Bean’s Bootmobile will be visiting Fenway Park, Boston. There’s
not much to this event, but if you’re a Dunkin fanatic, want to see a giant boot driving down the
street, or want a chance to win a gift card, head over to Fenway during those hours. Hours are
subject to change.
9/26 7:30-9:30 – For all the fashion girls, the International Runway Show and Pop-Up Shop will
be taking place in Downtown Crossing this Saturday 9/26 from 7:30-9:30 pm. Maybe you’ll see
what’s in style this season.
