When you see your friends Instagram story asking, “What TV show should I start watching?” you immediately send them your most current binge-watch, in hopes that they’ll join you and start watching so you have someone to talk about it with. That’s essentially what I’m here to do, except instead of doing it virtually, written below is a list of all my current obsessions (both on and off Netflix) that I recommend you give a watch!

The Bachelor/Bachelorette

I know reality shows about finding love are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I have been watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette since I was too young to know what falling in love even meant. It is so easy to become invested in their journey to see if they find true love at the end! If you love watching petty drama and are a hopeless romantic at heart, this show is definitely for you. Tune in to see if Colton finds love every Monday at 8pm on ABC!

The Challenge

This show is truly an underrated MTV classic! Contestants from The Real World, Big Brother, Are You the One, a few international shows, and more, all compete in intense physical challenges for a big cash prize at the end. Veteran players and brand-new rookies battle head to head with a new theme of challenges every year. And of course, like any other reality show, there’s always drama going on in the Challenge house. Tune in Wednesdays at 9pm on MTV.

Shameless

If you haven’t seen Shameless yet, you’re missing out! The show follows the Gallagher family who live on the South Side of Chicago and have gotten into every kind of trouble you could possibly imagine. There’s going to be a lot of laughter, a few tears, and plenty of shocking moments that you won’t see coming. The first 8 seasons are available on Netflix and tune in Sunday nights at 9pm on Showtime!

Grown-ish

A spinoff of Black-ish, this show follows Zoey Johnson as she is off to college at Cal U. Whether it be boys, parties, friends, or classes, you follow Zoey’s journey as she is figuring out how to be a grown up and live independently. This show is one of my favorites as it is so relatable to the life of a college student and the struggles we face. Tune in Wednesday at 8pm on Freeform!

Riverdale

Riverdale easily takes the cake for my current favorite show at the moment. Every season has been a new series of twists and turns whether it be trying to figure out who the murderer is, or trying to uncover the motives of the mysterious “Gargoyle King.” Riverdale has me on the edge of my seat week after week and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a good thriller! The first two seasons are on Netflix, or tune in Wednesday night at 8pm on the CW!

RuPaul’s Drag Race

One of my favorite things to do on a Friday night is grab a pint of ice cream and watch RuPaul’s Drag Race with my roommate. I live for the fierce competition that all the queens bring. Whether it’s a fashion challenge, a comedy challenge, or lip syncing for your life, these queens keep me entertained every single minute. Tune in Friday’s at 9pm on VH1!
