If You Haven’t Been Watching The Bachelor Here’s What You’ve Missed So Far

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Suffolk chapter.

If you’re like me and you love The Bachelor, then you’ve been sitting down every Monday night at 8 p.m to watch Peter’s love journey unfold, patiently waiting for next week’s hometown dates. However, some don’t like to watch at all and would much rather prefer to get drama recaps from their friends or read them online. So for those people, today’s article is for you! Here are some major highlights of the season from the past couple of weeks broken down by each individual woman.

  • Alayah

    • Got sent home for “turning it on when the camera’s come around” and “being fake” according to Sydney and Victoria P. who said that Alayah asked her to tell people “they didn’t know each other” when they had met in the past.

    • She came back the following week to try and win Peter’s heart back. He lets her back into the house.

    • The women are NOT happy with this decision and feel like their time is being wasted by Peter.

    • Second-guessing the choice he made, Peter sends Alayah home…again.

  • Victoria P.

    • Says she didn’t know Alayah well, but Alayah says that they had traveled together when they did Miss USA.

    • Her relationship with Peter isn’t the same after this and they both question each other.

    • On a group date, Peter tells her he “doesn’t see her as his wife” and sends her home at the moment instead of waiting for the rose ceremony.

  • Sydney

    • Has a 1 on 1 with Peter and shares with him that she never went to prom or homecoming and ate lunch in the bathroom everyday senior year.

    • Twitter fans were not so convinced of this as they started pulling up yearbook photos of her in pageants.

    • Did you know she went to high school with Hannah Brown?

  • Tammy

    • Tells Peter that Kelsey has been “having a mental breakdown” and is “drinking excessively and popping pills”

    • When Mykenna thought she did well on a group date, Tammy tells her she’s being immature. She shares these thoughts with Peter as well.

    • Tammy and Mykenna get put on a 2 on 1 date and Peter sends Tammy home.

  • Mykenna

    • She has no idea why Tammy is deciding to come after her and tells Peter that she’s there for serious reasons.

    • Though he believes her and sends Tammy home on the 2 on 1, he ultimately sends her home at the rose ceremony later that night.

  • Kelley

    • She is really sick of all the drama.

    • Isn’t falling in love with Peter as quickly as the rest of the girls and this unsettles Peter.

    • In a 3 on 1 date with Hannah Ann and Victoria F., Peter decides to send Kelley home.

  • Natasha

    • Not afraid to call Peter out (which we love).

    • She makes it to the final six and has her first 1 on 1 at that point.

    • Peter doesn’t think that their relationship is on the same level as the other women, so he sends her home.

  • Victoria F.

    • Goes on a 1 on1 with Peter, only to have to be serenaded by her ex-boyfriend Chase Rice.

    • It seems like she and Peter are always arguing, but even after their tough conversation, he gives her rose.

    • Going to hometowns!

  • Kelsey

    • Peter believes her throughout all of the Tammy drama.

    • She opens up about her family and lets Peter know he will not be meeting her dad should she get a hometown date.

    • Tells Peter she’s falling in love with him.

    • Going to hometowns!

  • Hannah Ann

    • Though she was in a 3-year relationship, she tells Peter that she’s “never been in love” and this startles him a little bit, but she assures him she’s ready for marriage.

    • Secures a rose in the 3 on 1 date with Victoria F. and Kelley.

    • Tells Peter she’s falling in love with him.

    • Going to hometowns!

  • Madison

    • She opens up to Peter about her faith.

    • Peter says he’s falling in love with her!

    • Going to hometowns!
