Mark your calendars for December 13th people, HS2 is coming. Harry Styles has recently announced the release of his sophomore album Fine Line in the next month. As a lifelong Harry Styles aficionado, can I just say that I am so ready for this. The album cover itself is pure art, as it shows him through a fish-eye lens with honestly the most beautiful and artistic combination of colors.

Fans were able to get a sneak peek of the album with the recent release of his single “Lights Up”, which rings in a new era of his music. Having a much more dreamy pop feel, it truly shows how he has grown and matured in the last two years since his debut solo album was released.

In his September cover with Rolling Stones magazine, Styles alluded to the idea that the new album is all about “having sex and feeling sad”. According to reports, he has been taking a lot of influence from rock and roll among other genres, as well as working with producer Mark Ronson, whose credentials include Lady Gaga and the late Amy Winehouse.

Styles and his team really have been hyping up fans for this album, as there have been many mysterious billboards and even a website with just the words “DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE” on it. It has been keeping fans like me on edge, waiting for a new clue about the new album or even another single release. As we get closer to December 13th, I can only hope that we get more album content, I really don’t think I can wait much longer.
