What is this convention all about?
Throughout the day you will be perfecting your skills and working on writing two columns. You can explore the options and your interests by working with writers from all different departments (fashion, entertainment, etc.). These professional journalists will give details on their particular areas and coach you in writing your columns. And if the team at 122 thinks you have potential, your work can be edited and published alongside writers and editors from Harpers, STUFF, and Sports Illustrated. There will also be a lunchtime keynote by Harper’s senior editor, Christopher Cox.

Where and when is this convention taking place?
Boston Center for Adult Education, 122 Arlington Street, Boston, MA 02116 on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

Check out the website for even more information on the writers you will be working with!
