On Saturday, October 6th, Bless By Bless Fashion Couture held it’s “Revolt!” Fashion Week fundraiser and show at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Designer Bless Mazarura teamed up with the charity Christopher’s Haven, to put on the show, as well as to raise money for the charity.

Christopher’s Haven works with Mass General Hospital to provide free accommodations during treatment for children suffering from cancer, along with their parents. Dan Olsen founded Christopher’s Haven in 2001, after coming up with idea during his own cancer treatments at Mass General Hospital. A three time cancer survivor, he met many families in the process of his own treatment who were struggling to make ends meet due to the costs of treatment for their children. It is only fitting that Bless By Bless would want to include this charity into their Fashion Week show, since the label is dedicated to philanthropy.

The clothing line may be tough and edgy, but their mission is to spread a message of faith, hope, and love through a combination of fashion, music, and philanthropy. Revolt! did just that, combining live music with an inspirational fashion show that gave back.

Designer Bless Mazarura said, “Bless By Bless is beyond fashion, it is a way of life; it is a lifestyle of bringing hope and love to the less fortunate. Teaming up with non-profit organizations such as Christopher’s Haven is simply part of the Bless By Bless mission to bring change.”

The show was considered “creative black tie,” and the models walked the runway in inspirational, rock ’n’ roll influenced outfits that spoke pure luxury. The show began at 7:30PM, and each ticket included a complimentary bar and food all night. Bless By Bless donated 100% of the proceeds from Revolt! to Christopher’s Haven, making the event not only an inspirational night of fashion, but a charitable event as well.
