Best Jonas Brothers Throwbacks to Celebrate the Release of New Music

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Suffolk chapter.

It seems like it’s 2008 all over again, and honestly I‘m here for it. If you haven’t heard the news yet (I would be really surprised if you haven’t), the Jonas Brothers are back and better than ever. Their new single “Sucker” was released at midnight this past Friday, and the hysteria over their reunion is still going strong. Also in the past week, a live tour is in the works as well as a full album is expected in the upcoming months, so fans be prepared for 2019 to be the year of Jonas. If you were ever a diehard fan like me, listening to the classics will definitely get you hyped up for their return. Below is a list of the top 5 throwback Jonas Brothers songs to listen to this week:

5.) A Little Bit Longer (2008)

Released in 2008 and the title of their third studio album, “A Little Bit Longer” is a classic ballad and with Nick at the lead vocals, it’s the perfect angsty song to jam out to in the car.

4.) S.O.S (2007)

One of the classics, S.O.S. was one of the first hits that helped catapult the Jonas Brothers into superstardom.

3.) Lovebug (2008)

The sweet love song had an even sweeter music video inspired by the classic film “The Notebook”.

2.) “Burnin’ Up” (2008)

Considered one of their biggest hits, the Jonas Brothers drove their 2008 album with this explosive pop ballad with an even better music video. Also not to mention, Big Rob’s rap is hands down the best part of the song.

1.) Year 3000 (2007)

Appearing on both their self-titled 2007 album and the “Meet the Robinsons” soundtrack, the band brings a new twist on the song of the same name by U.K. pop-punk group Busted.
